Black tea

Black tea is more oxidized than oolong, green and white teas and is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Two principal varieties are used – the small-leaved Chinese variety plant (Camellia sinensis subsp. Sinensis),  and the large-leaved Assamese plant (Camellia sinensis subsp. assamica).
